How many years have you worked in the industry, and what qualifications do you have?
Nine years, including seven years at Classic. I have a City & Guilds NVQ Level 2.
Why did you take up hairdressing?
After an unfortunate accident, my dancing career was over, and I have always enjoyed experimenting with hair so this was my natural choice for my new career (which I love!).
What keeps you motivated?
Seeing new fashions, and when clients return to you then you know you’ve done a good job.
Which famous person’s hairstyle would you like to change?
(Ex-Bucks Fizz member) David Van Day.
What do you enjoy about your work?
Working with great people, and making people feel good about themselves.
Where do you go on holiday, and how do you enjoy yourself?
I love city breaks with lots of things to see and do and loads of culture, and idyllic villages in the English countryside steeped in local history.
Favourite celeb, music, TV show, film and hobbies?
Jamie Oliver, 90s club classics, reality TV (especially Strictly Come Dancing), Sex And The City, shopping, socialising with friends, cooking, and taking my dog for nice walks.
