Job title: Senior stylist
How many years have you worked in the industry, and what qualifications do you have?
Eight years. I have a City & Guilds NVQ Level 2, attended Goldwell academy (classic cutting, creative foiling, and colour correction courses), Wahl academy (”Funky Men” and “Clipper Design” courses), and Studex Ear Piercing.
How did you get in to hairdressing?
I started helping with the shampooing and decided to go to evening classes to qualify as I had already dabbled a bit at home.
What keeps you motivated?
The satisfaction of helping to make somebody look good and feel better about themselves.
Which famous person’s hairstyle would you like to change?
[Celebrity hair stylist] Nicky Clarke and Russel Brand.
What do you enjoy about your work?
The good atmosphere, colleagues and friendly customers.
Where do you go on holiday, and how do you enjoy yourself?
Abroad (anywhere hot!), reading and socialising.
Favourite celeb, music, TV show, film and hobbies?
Graham Norton, r ‘n b, Wild At Heart, Officer And A Gentleman, cooking, sewing and swimming.
